I wonder if your furnace has the same black wall thermostat that I have in my VC 23RSS. If so there is a little switch on the top that is unbelievably difficult to move and that's the on/off switch. The easy to move switch or lever on the bottom is the temperature control.

My thermostat has a "Mode" button that I push till it says heat. I use the up or down arrows to adjust the temperature I want to set it at. I clicked on your link and it looks like the thermostat is to the left of the fridge.
Question, didn't the dealer go over the unit with you before you left the lot? My dealer brought me up to speed on all the systems and appliances when I picked up my 250RL.
Good luck and happy camping!
