2003 Gulfstream Sunvoyager mirrors
Hey Fellow Gulfstreamers,
I have a 2003 Gulfstream Sun Voyager. The mirrors are falling off due to the support post rusting through. I don't know where to get parts for this. I contacted Gulfstream and they told me the mirrors were from Hadley which is now Safefleet. However, I can't find anything online about parts for these older mirrors. I saw somewhere where you can buy the internal support plate for other mirrors like Valvec. That is probable what I need from Sunfleet.
Any help?

Hello I had issues with my mirrors also.
My end result was to remove and relocate them all together with a different style mirror and also switched the left and right sides to allow them to tuck in tight to body.then filled and painted the old mirror holes.
They look so much nicer then the original, it looked like a giant bug.
And the view is perfect I can see everything.
Just a suggestion

I am having the same problem! Passenger side mirror is broken, and I cannot find any information anywhere about these mirrors!! My RV is sitting at inspection station waiting for mirros, and station and myself cannot find replacements anywhere.
Did you find any help anywhere??
I have searched internet for hours, and cannot locate these mirrors anywhere. Cannot even find any info on them. Gulf Stream does not reply to questions either.

I had success!
I was able to track down the parts I needed to fix my mirrors.
My problem was that the support post rusted and the mirror fell over.
I was able to find the metal plate and post assembly and collet.
If you have the same problem I can give you the details.

Yes please. I would like any info I can get on how and where to source these mirrors or parts for them. They are like unicorn mirrors, impossible to find!

2003 Gulfstream Sun Voyager mirrors
They were made by a company call Hadley which was bought out by Safefleet.
Here is the original computer drawing.

LOL. Yeah, I already contacted Safe Fleet. They dont even reply when they hear about a 20 yr old RV. So they are useless.
Thanks though.
I will most likely end up taking these off and mounting some other type mirror.

That exactly why I changed mine as mentioned. Unfortunately as things age the new styles definitely don't interchange with the older models. But the end result I am very happy with.
Good luck whatever choice you make.

More info
You have to order from A1 truck parts.
Very nice people...
I'm assuming you need the same parts that I needed?
Am I correct?
Cheers,
Dan

Yes I have pictures posted, if you tap the picture under my name more pictures will show. My mirrors are velvac brand, very durable and work well for my needs.
My apologies for not being very good at adding pictures to this forum.

I just ordered a set of Velac mirrors to do the same as you. Hopefully it is fairly easy to mount these. And I will switch sides to tuck them in better too!
Thanks for the info.
