Default shot in the dark

Hello everyone!
I have a 2003 gulfstream friendship g7.My four prong trailer lighting plug works fine.My 7 blade does not. When I plug tester unit in it shows 12v and only my right side tail light stays on.Very befuddled.Re set my ground and still nothing.Any thoughts.Baffling as the 4 prong works but I would like to use my electric brakes on my trailer.Any thoughts would be appreciated as always.Peace

When equipped w/ both 4-pin and 7-pin, the 7 usually splices into the four. Have you inspected wires and splices? If 7-pin has a separate factory plug underneath to tap the 4-wires, have you inspected Plug for corrosion? In either, the OTHER 3 function pins are wired separately. Do all coach rear lights work properly? The REAR TS are usually tied to the trailer harness, fuse/ relay too. Most trailer coach wiring issues are due to harness wire damage, so inspect/ repair that first?

Thanks Friend,
Found out that the 7 blade had seperate length of cord and plug.Pulled the plug after much effort and what I found wasnt pretty.Replaced plug, cleaned leads and got them working again. Thanks my brotha for all your help.On to the next problem as Im finding the clown that sold me the unit stated all worked as it should. He couldnt have been further from the truth. My bad for trusting this guy.Warning to new buyers buying used.Do not trust your gut...do your homework...climb around every inch, use every device and function ect, ect.Unlike me who bought into this clown being the pastor of a church and he wouldnt be dishonest.DUH!! Remember Tammy Faye Baker??Peace to all and HAPPY TRAVELS and a big THANK YOU to this forum.
