Default Fluids for SuperNova

One of our members, galena, sent me a PM about engine oil for our diesel VT365 International engines. I prepared a list of the fluids I carry with me so I decided to list it here also.

Following is a list of all the fluids I carry in the SuperNova to top off the respective systems when necessary:

Engine Oil: Mobil Delvac Million Mile 1300 Super 15w-40 Diesel Oil (Can be found at most auto parts retailers and Walmart)

Antifreeze/Coolant: Chevron Delo Extended Life ({Red} can be found at Truck Stops or International Dealers)

Generator Oil: Onamax 15w-40 (Camping World)

Generator Coolant: Prestone 50/50 Antifreeze/Coolant (auto parts stores or Walmart)

Great list!

How about the following:

Windshield washer fluid
Power steering fluid
brake fluid

I don't have my manual handy, but these fluids would also be good to carry.

Default Re: Spare stuff

Also:

Transmission fluid

Fuel filter for the engine (must be changed when the oil is changed)
Transmission filter (must be changed the first time the oil is changed)

oil filter for generator
air filter for generator

and super important according to my international dealer:

Spare belt for the engine. You can't get this belt at an auto parts store, you can only get it from the international dealer. So if it breaks, and you don't have one, you are down until you find an open international dealer.
