Default 2008 Supernova 6372 slides

I have read with great interest the info posted on this site over the last 3 years, and my latest series of problems has prompted my current "newbie" member status. For what its worth, I think my Supernova has displayed ALL the problems ever encountered by all Supernova owners.
My latest and as yet unresolved issues:
1/ The long drivers side slide is driven by a Powergear set up. One end does not function, the motor itself works fine with a 12V power source directly applied. Where are the controllers located? Unlike the levelling jacks, the slides motors have wires going to the motor and brake, plus another going into the gearbox. What is the latter for?
2/ Have had several issues with intermittent loss of control voltage to the lovely VT 365: my last trip home was 360 miles so about 6 hours and the engine stopped for a fraction of a second about 50 times, and from 2 to 8 seconds about 20 times. For the record, still have enough "push" from the transmission to the engine that you have full power steering control at about 20 mph. Have upgraded the wiring harness in the battery box so that the 40 amp fuses and fuse holders to the ECM and injector module are good. Help!!

Thank you very much TxTC.
I actually found them yesterday, in the same compartment as the PowerGear leveling jacks. Now to go through the 111 page troubleshooting manual.

Thanks again,

Mac V

Default Re: 2008 Supernova 6372 power loss

We have a 2008 Endura and after parking it after a trip in our storage lot, it wouldn't start. Had it towed to local International dealer and they replaced several large rectangular connectors in the line from the batteries to the engine with large (yellow) crimping connectors , no more problems. Seem that our IH dealer has had alot of failures of the factory crimped connectors and they just replace them with the yellow connectors and the said they have not had a return customer for the same problem. Just my 2 cents.
