Fuel filter location

Hi, Mike here!
Question; Does any one know where they put the fuel filter on an 04 Endura with a Duramax diesel.
I haven’t seen it on either side of the engine, I’ve looked underneath as well. I don’t see it!!

Please help..
Pictures would be good!
I looked on line and everything (video) I’ve seen shows it on the drivers side of the engine. It’s not there..
I’m completely at a loss..

After stumbling across a diagram today, SUGGEST you find injector manifold and follow fuel line back to the HIGH PRESSURE PUMP; you should find FUEL FILTER between those two?

Thanks for the assistance, yep it was hidden on the driver’s side
