Default Visa 19 ERD Bed Prop

Has anyone replaced the flimsy bed prop under the master bed? Some idiot, probably me put the bed back down with the prop rod still up. It just folded up like a cheap coat hanger. Maybe just a stiffer prop rod would do? Come to think of it when it comes to rods, stiffer is usually better.

I use a woody!
Yes a broom handle that fits into a block, that is attached to bottom of bed.
A good woody keeps it up higher than flimsy rod.

A couple Visa folks have installed gas struts (available from Camping World) under their bed platforms. Have a look at their pics over in the Gulfstream Visa Owners Community on facebook.com.
