Default Issues with BT Cruiser 5291

Hello

I am looking at 2005 to 2012 BT Cruiser model 5291's for purchase. Wondering if anyone could provide background as to what issues are prevalent in these models.

Specifically looking at the 3-slide model build on the Ford 450 chassis with V10 power. These units have the dining "atrium" with the skylights in the roof of the slide.

Thanks in advance

We live in Nova Scotia, Canada. We have that model for two years now. Have not experienced problems with the RV except for a strange problem with the motor on the truck. We lost power while backing into driveway and the local shop took a week to figure out a problem with the throttle controller. Its a nice rig and in ours, everything works. Good luck and safe travels.

PS: We found the shut off for the water heater after long search behind the low door in the bedroom next to the shower. Has several valves on the floor and also on the wall inside that door.

Hi I have an atrium slide which gets very hot in full sun. I live in Illinois so needed to put insulation in the bubbles. Also the fiberglass had a leak which I fixed with Flex-seal. Other than that I have enjoyed it. I’m a widowed female 75 years old. Happy traveling.

Thanks for your feedback on your 5291. You sound like a very interesting person.
