Default 08 Crescendo - No Brake Lights on trailer

I know this is similar to other posts, but it's just not solving the same. This is a new to me 08 Crescendo and my first time hooking the trailer. Towing a 10' box trailer with a four pin connector. Using an adapter from the four pin to the coach. Trailer has running and turn signal lights but no brake lights. RV plug has no power to the blade for brake lights. Manual points to a 5a fuse in r/rear compartment. Meter says the fuse is good, changed it out anyway. Still no change - running lights, turn signals but no brake lights.

BTW - I'm pulling out from cold Illinois to Texas in less than 24 hours - I hope!

It has to be a fuse if you do not have power to the prong on the plug. My Gulf Stream has all the DC fuses on a compartment under the drivers seat. I also have a schematic of all the fuses on the wall in the compartment telling you what each fuse is for. Also in that compartment is a white ground wire, check it to see if it has not come lose.

I have a Crescendo 324 with forward diesel.

I have a dumb question though. I just purchased this MH and both my engine and coach batteries (2each 12V) are located in the engine area. 2 are on the passenger side and 2 on driver side. Can someone tell me which is the engine batteries without me having to trace the cable to alternator?

Get your voltmeter and check voltage at each set of batteries. Plug into shore power and see which set sees a voltage increase. Those would be the coach batteries.
