Sounds like now they are operated with a relay switch. Any cheap SPST bathandle switch from Menards spliced into the center feed line of the cable will allow you to kill the outside speakers AT the outside speakers. You could mount it in a weatherproof plastic box, or punch a 1/2 inch hole in the panel and mount it there. Your neighbors will thank you for having the outside speakers off except when actually there using them. If you keep the volume down, we might even bring over a bottle of wine to thank you!
