Question What is this Component and its Function?

On our Coach, this is in the very front bay where the Generac LP generator is located. It's mounted on the right as you open that front access door.

I do believe this Coach has Air over Hydraulic brakes. At first I thought those were air lines to.

I will clean the exterior well and take the top off carefully. Before that, I will try to trace those two lines.

I had hoped another DP Scenic Cruiser owner from that era would also reply.

It is the Brake Fluid Reservoir, the two lines will go down to the master cylinders for the brakes, one for the front and one for the rear brakes.

ty so much. I also just found the chassis image for the EC series in my Spartan Manual (the one I was looking at is for the Intermediate Series Chassis), the page wasn't in a place I would have thought. It does show that as the Brake Fluid Reservoir and appears to be a part Spartan included.

I think I will contact them with my VIN and see if I can get a part # for that in case I want to replace with new and to see what brake fluid they recommend.

I have not opened it yet, but will soon to check the level. Cummins NW should have checked that when I had the Coach in for service.

It's nice to see that there are a couple of these vintage units still out there. We on our 10th year traveling the country in our 1994 34' Gulfstream Senic Cruiser, Spartan chassis, 230 hp Cummins, Allison 3000 transmission. A fantastic piece of equipment. Had to rebuild a master cylinder, a little injector pump work, just had a fuel solenoid fail, but other than that, few problems. I look forward to your post and that was the hydraulic brake fluid reservoir.
