Should I turn off coach connect and chassis connect to my batteries when I'm plugged in my 50 amp service. Bob

No its not necessary, if you do you will have to reprogram appliances and dash

I never turn off my switches at anytime. The only time that they have been off is when I left the unit at a Dealer for some warranty work a few years ago. They turned them off when they were done working on the unit.
