Question Basement Door Removal

Can anyone refer me to good info about removing basement doors? My 2007 Sun Voyager doors at the generator and power connection are separating from the wall at the hinge. I understand they slide down a track, but not quite sure how that track is removed without destroying it.

Thanks,
Donald

My understanding is the doors slide on from the wheel wells. If you feel, or look, where the hinges mount in the track you will find set screws that keep the doos located.
Keep in mind that the doors are aluminum sheet held on to an aluminum door frame with double sided tape. My tape failed and the door bent 90 degrees to the door handle. I took the sheet off the door, found an aluminum fabricator who straightened it out and I taped it back together. I did this 3 years ago. So far so good

Default Re bsmt door

If like mine, maybe screws at each end of hinge to prevent sliding, otherwise, open door, remove screws inside lip, then pry gently re: putty/ caulk, remove door and frame assembly.
