Default Couple of Winterizing Questions

Hi, I have a 2021 Innsbruck (189DD) Travel Trailer (bought new this past January). I'm a newbie to travel trailer camping. This is my first winter for winterizing it (living in SW Idaho, so below freezing temps occur on a regular basis). It is winterized, sitting in the driveway, no hard cover over it. But it does have a soft cover over it for the winter. I'm curious as to what the consensus is for the following two questions:
1. Should I leave the two rear stabilizer jacks up or down (engaged with the ground) during the winter? No front stabilizers installed.

2. I have two 12v external batteries. I currently have a shoreline connection from the 30-amp trailer connector to a 50-amp outlet at the house (via an adapter). Is it OK to leave the batteries connected/charging this way on the trailer through the winter, or should I bring the batteries into my garage and occasionally connect them to a trickle charger during the winter?

Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom on this.

Whichever way you keep your batteries on charge over the winter, you need to periodically check the electrolyte level, as constant charging will tend to lower the level through accelerated evaporation (technically not 'boiling' but you may hear bubbling of the hydrogen gas...)

Most RV chargers these days have a fairly decent float charge cycle, but a few less expensive two stage ones don't and those will cause electrolyte loss more rapidly.

Even with the better chargers, it is a good discipline to check and top up the electrolyte levels every 90 days or so at a minimum -- during storage and during summer camping use.

The stabilizers do not matter.

If you use the stabilzers, make sure they are not contacting the ground directly, use wood or plastic riser.
