Vintage Cruiser First Upgrade
I did my first real upgrade to the trailer... The "hallway" is kind of tight between the toilet room door and shower, so I installed this,

I was going to call it a bathroom but technically the shower is on the other side.
I had to modify it because the door is skinnier than a normal door but it was not hard.

Before that room had a name it was called the 'water closet' It was usually built, sometimes without walls, in the kitchen next to all the plumbing and drains. People would add curtains or walls around it and it became the water closet.
There is no bathing in there so.. ? rest room? Or, named after the famous guy involved in inventing it, John Crapper. Going to the 'john' or the 'crapper'.
Ships call it the 'head'. I call it whatever pops out of mouth.

Nice idea. Where did you source the handle from?
That door and the fact that it effectively forms a "suite" at the back of the trailer is one big reason that made the 19erd so attractive to my wife and I. She's an early riser, I play with telescopes at night and sleep in. She gets up, closes off the "suite", bangs about in the other end and I sleep blithely on.

You have to modify the length and girth to fit. I just ground off 0.5mm from 2 sides and cut off (I think) 11mm, but meaure everything first.

Fran,
The "no snag" door hardware is an excellent idea in any narrow hallway -- even my 42 foot diesel pusher coach Tour Master got a similar treatment. I used a bullet catch and a recessed pull...wish I had found that hardware you used, as it appears to be very high quality.

Ironically It does seem to be very high quality and it shipped straight from China.

That's a great idea. That doorknob is a real hip knocker.I'm going to change it.One thing i did was to mount my towel bars on door (inside top and bottom)so with door dividing trailer when showering towels are handy. Also put clothes rod above shower to hang clothes because closets too small, before showering just throw clothes on bed.Going to beef up mattress base and get rid of the poor excuse of a mattress. And do something about noisey water pump.Maybe move the spare tire from under the bed of more storage.
