Default Toilet smell

Has anyone had a problem with a stinking toilet on an 6362?

One day there is no smell and the next day, the smell is overcoming.

Used different solutions to the holding tanks but the same problems arises.

I have checked the toilet and the seals are in good shape and not leaking.

Just wonder if the smell comes from a vent but haven't found any yet.

Any ideas????????

Check that there is water in the bathroom sink, shower, and kitchen sing P traps. Without water in those traps, odors from the tanks can flow directly into the coach through the sink and shower drains.

It's a good idea to run a little water into each of the sinks and shower to fill the p traps.

Try not to let your grey and black tanks run dry. I always refill to 1/3rd level or more after dumping and rinsing. I throw a little Borax 20 mule team and cheap detergent in all the tanks after dumping and rinsing.

The Borax will soften the water and make the walls of the tanks slick, while the detergent makes everything smell nice. During the drive home, all that good stuff sloshes around in the tanks and cleans whatever I did not. I leave it in the tanks during storage to keep the traps filled with smell good water.

Just my $0.02.

I have a slight smell issue too but ours is parked and does not move so I don't have the sloshing option while driving.

Someone told me that putting some pool chlorine in the black tank full of water and leaving it in there for a few days should clean it out?
