Default Bath tub 3 inch lip

I have a 2021 199RK and it has a mini tub in the shower. I am finding it infuriating that when you take a shower, and and ALL water seems to drip on this lip and finds its way to the floor. This is a terrible design flaw. What has anyone done to alleviate this issue? I have installed corner splash guards but in such a small space, they only work to slow the moving of water to the floor. Help?

Shower curtain pulled in does nothing as water still drips on the lip and finds its way to the floor. Pictures to come soon

These pics show the 3 inch lip around the tub. Poor, poor design. I will figure something out but what a pain

whoa, what where they thinking?

We have a 2019 25BHS with no lip (attractive lines in yours tho) Our water puddles from a fabric curtain not falling straight into the tub, but resting on the side, because of the pivot rod I installed to allow more room in the shower, easily corrected by using a vinyl liner

You have a new 2021, why should you be expected to correct anything?
Especially water damaging puddles?
There's no way water is going to flow back into the tub. Not with the lipped pathway outside the tub area.
I'd suspect the dealer has already been in contact with Gulf Stream. What has been their response?

These tubs are so common. All I did is call my dealer and talked to the service manager, asking him what people do. He told me that people fashion some sort of angled thingamajig directing water back towards the tub. I bought a foot long piece of carpet runner, (plastic) 27 inches wide, cut in half, 6 inches each and attached one to each end with 4 screws and a bead of silicone. I think this will work, at least better than what is there now. I will post pictures later

Indeed, what were they thinking.

Maybe the size if misleading in the pic's but I don't really understand any benefit to a "tub" like that. Might be good for the family pet I guess. I would probably shrug it off except of course for the flooding problem.

If the shower stall were a standard size I might consider replacing the tub with a shower pan.

I am thinking that the size of the tub itself is useless as well. I screwed and siliconed a 6 inch wide strip of rug runner the width of the tub so I am hoping that this will direct 95% of the water back into the tub. I guarantee it won't leak to the floor as bad as it was.

After about 8 showers over time, I am happy to announce that my fix with the floor runner and corner splash guards alleviated ALL leakage to the floor. I also added flexible ceiling track and curtain hangers to make a half moon shape outside the shower for the shower curtain. I actually have room to move my arms in the shower. It is rather comfy in there now.
