Default Wetbay area

I have a 2007 Gulf Stream Sun Voyager Model 8368 and I wanted to know from the picture I attached what is this hole under the wetbay used for? it appears that it looks like a hose would go through their and would attached to the Grey/Black tanks, but it also looks like there is something missing here because when driving dust and dirt enter the wetbay from down below even when the cargo bay door is closed, this hole is the only area that is open below the wetbay. Am I missing some part or is this left open all the time?wetbay.JPG

On our American Dream coach this "hole" had a cap that snapped in from the inside, when not being used for waste line to exit. I would assume this should be same on your coach.
