Default anyone have a 2006 5291

Anyone out there with a 2006 Gtouring 5291. If so have you done anything with your backup system. Mine is a voyager but don't know the model #. If you changed yours out was it a plug and play system.

Default Back up camera

I have an 06 bt cruiser 5290. The backup camera works sometime. The monitor is in the sun visor. The model is AOM561. This was the only model made to fit into the visors. They don’t make them anymore. I didn’t try to replace the existing camera. I installed a Voyager wireless backup system WVOS541. I mounted the wireless camera beneath the existing camera ran the power wire to the clearance lights and wired it in. I have to drive with the parking lights on when I drive but the picture is good and never had a problem. You mount the camera, power it on,mount the camera in the cab it has a suction cup mount press one button till the camera and monitor sync and thats it.

Thanks I will probably go with a wireless set up or maybe just leave it alone and backup as usual. Thanks
