Default Tour Master Caravan

I was between Tulsa and Miami Oklahoma on I-44 (Will Rogers Turnpike) and saw a caravan of about four Big Black Tour Master's painted just like mine heading south. They had the white plastic rock and bug wrappers still attached and were traveling about a mile apart.

I am always looking for a new TourMaster like mine regardless of color and low and behold a caravan was coming right at me.

Now I'm really homesick for mine...Its ready but I don't have time to go to Elkhart to get it.........

They must of been heading for delivery to a dealer all the way from the factory with the white factory installed shipping mask.

Glad to hear that yours is finally done. Naturally it is going to be too cold at Elkhart to try out the air with the new boost/conditoner added to see if it cools like it supposed to.

If you want me to, I could pick it up for you and take it to Florida, I then could drop it off next May on my way back home.
Could give the A/C a thorough test that way.

Just a thought,
Ron

I might take you up on that. You will probably get the rest of the bugs fixed faster than I will

P.S. I had $6,000 worth of extras done will you pick that up too?

Sure, I will have it put on my account, on account of I won't pay for it.

I don't know if I would get it done any faster or not, it took me 1 year and nine months to get mine all done. But that was the dealers fault, things they were suposed do, had to be done over correctly by the Gulf Stream factory techs.

That sure was a lot of extras or very expensive ones. What did you have done?

1: Replaced Recliner with opposing couch. (had to be custom made by Flexsteel because GS alledgedly welched on them and went with another furniture manfacturer after mockup and ramp up of next model year production ($2,000)

2: Diamond Shield Paint Protection & paint repair

3: OnBoard Power protection for both gen power and shore power.

4: Power Cord Reel for Shore Power....(I know its a toy...)

5: Buff and recondition stains on all glass that was on it when I purchased. Glass manufuctuer denied any responsibility.

Actually it was about $7,800 in total...

Those were all good and practical options. The power cord reel sure will be nice so that you will not have to wrestle the 50 amp cord. Everyone should have the protection for their A/C supply voltage. The Diamond Shield Protection is great for the front of the coach. I have the 3m shield on our coach and also had it applied on our first coach. Really keeps the paint from chipping from bugs ETC.

We had stains on our glass also when we got it, I believe it was from the minerals in the water used to wash it and maybe some acid rain. It was a lot of work to get them off. Now I keep the windows waxed with Dry Wash n' Guard. That really helps to protect them.
