Howdy from Jim Bob, a fellow 6362 owner (200.

There are three manuals for the Intnl part of the deal:
1. An Engine Operation and Maintenance Manual, Form #1171814R3
2. Operator's Manual Chassis: Form # 2645207R1
3. Operator's Manual Chassis (Radio) Form # 3601673R1

These should be available at any International dealer as a part, I believe they are on line, but not positive there.

As to your specific question, the manual suggests changing engine oil and filters at 10,000 mile intervals, or every 6 months, or 350 hours of operation, or 1000 gallons of fuel.

I change mine every 7500 miles, along with the fuel filter. I was advised to change the fuel filter at every oil change, due to the tremendous amount of fuel being pushed through the system to get 300 horses out of 365 cubic inches.

If you haven't yet, you will learn about "turbo farting" in the engine, as something to live with, although the forum has mentioned recently that this event seems to have calmed down recently with computer twitching.

International performs what they call a "Wet 1 or at Wet 2 "service as you request, which includes a spiffy 85 or 100 point checklist that they go through, and then share with you, or at least my dealer does. Cost including oil is around $230-$250.

In 30,000 miles, I've changed oil 3 times, and had a brake system control replaced, under warranty, which involved a tow due to warning lights flashing, and my being advised not to drive the coach. The tow was paid for by Gulfstreams coverage under Coach Net. Other than that, not a bit of trouble with the engine side of the coach. International replaced the turbo unit and the EGR computer early on under warranty in early attempts to address the turbo farting issue.

You'll find the forum ready and willing I believe to help out with most inquiries, we have a loyal cadre of owners on board, myself and Texas TC and Paul as "senior members."
Reccomend that you have your dealer print out an ISIS report for you which will reveal all sorts of technical goodies for you to have a record of, if you're into that sort of thing.

Sing out if you need further- Great good luck, travel safely.

Below is a post from a while ago answering your question about International manuals:

My 2008 SuperNova came with 5 manuals, they are:

Allison 1000/2000 Operators Manual (OM3364EN)
International VT365 Engine Operation and Maintenance Manual (1171814R3)
Allison Transmission Warranty Information (SE0100EN)
Operator's Manual Chassis Medium Duty Model (2645207R1)
Operator's Manual Chassis Radio (3601673R1)

Hope this helps.

I agree with JimBob, get your International Dealer to print you an ISIS report for your coach. The manuals should be available at any International dealer.

The GS manuals are pretty sparse and generic. Most of my "system" information I got off the internet searching the manufacturer for their specific information about my components (ie. Dometic, PowerGear, Jensen, etc.)

I also change my engine oil and fuel filter every 7500 miles. I now use a diesel additive every other fuel stop. I lost 4 injectors at one time a few months ago at about 37000 miles and have been convinced that the addition of a fuel additive is essential due to the low lubricating capabilities of the ULSD fuel that we are forced to run these days.

Good luck!

thanks for all the help. Have only had my unit for 2 months. Used with 15,000 miles on it. Simply love the layout and road handeling. haven't traveled much but plan to this fall. Summer in Wisconsin and winter in Mcallen/Mission Texas area. Fulltime rver. Had a 5th wheel but purchased a park model in Texas and wanted something to travel in. Looking forward to travel in my class "C".
Somehow I stumbled upon this forum and its nice to know of a place to get info. See you guys around.
