Default 2017 control panel

I own a 2003 Gulf Stream Ultra Supreme motor home. Yesterday I could not retract the levelling jacks. I checked all the fuses I could find and continued to play with the 1702 panel buttons, and finally the jacks retracted. I have no power indication lights and none of the buttons work. I pulled the 1702 panel out and found the fuse serviceable. There is no power to the white power wire beside the fuse, but the black ground wire on the multi wire plug is grounded. The slide works fine, so this indicates to me that it is an electrical control issue because the hydraulic pump works. I have been told, there is a power control box with fuses and a fifty amp circuit breaker, mounted under and near the centre of the coach. I have crawled underneath the coach from front to rear and looked in all the basement bays, but cannot find this control box. Can anyone tell where this box is located on a 2003 Ultra Supreme? Thank you.

I did find the power problem, a bad fuse in the DC electrical bay. This could not be seen by looking at it, but I found it by putting a meter on it. Now, the control panel will not power up, so it indicates a problem with the 1702 control panel. Upgrading the system is not an option for me (financially) and it is near impossible to find a used control panel, so the only option would be to build a new panel using mechanical switches and relays. Has anyone out there done this, and if so, do you have any wiring diagrams and a list of the type of switches and relays that you used? Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

Is it Eualizer Systems hydraulics? I have not had much luck from them answering my questions.

Have you tried contacting COLAW RV AND SALVAGE in Missouri? They have acres of salvage rv's....might have what you're lookimg for

I have not had any luck with Equalizer Hydraulics either. They are more than willing to sell me a new system, which out of the question for me, so my only two options are to find a used one or build one. Thanks for the info. I will contact them.

Most times, the 12vdc circuit breakers are within 18" of the battery, so follow the POS+ cable?

Sometimes, SOLENOIDS GO BAD AND CONTACTS STICK CLOSED, which trips breakers. Sometimes they go bad and CLUNK, but do not connect.

Thank you for the reply. I have located the CB's and fuses associated with the 1702 control panel and I did find a blown fuse, but that did not fix the problem. I have determined that the control panel is faulty, so my next step is to find a used panel somewhere or build a new panel with mechanical switches and relays. I am trying to acquire some info, like wiring diagrams and parts required, from someone who has already done this. Thank you again.

I have read some brands of controllers also have fuses on the back side of the control panel? Have you removed to inspect? Maybe this can help? https://eqsystems.us/wp-content/uplo...ches-10-13.pdf

This may also help? https://duckduckgo.com/?q=equalizer+1702+manuals&ia=web
