Default Icemaker Waterline

While getting ready for the next trip found water leaking out of the refrigerator access panel.? It took forever but finally figured out that it was coming from the icemaker water line.? Cut the line back far enough to remove the split section of pipe and found it still leaked.? Cut it back 2 more times for a total of 18 inches.? It is now too short and must be replaced. ?? Final decision was to remove the ice maker.? I think we would have become very sick if we had used the ice from that water.? The line had black mold growing in it.? UGH!!!? Just a note to be careful.Ray
