Default New to me 2008 BTCruiser 5272

Hello all- I’m a new owner of a 2008 BTCruiser 5272 that has a few needs and I’m hoping there are some owners on this site that can help me.

The motorhome needs a new entrance step. Any idea on what to order and from where? I believe it originally had a motorized step, but not sure.

I’m also wondering about the house battery. My unit currently has only one house battery, but it looks like there is room for two. Is there an advantage to having more than 1 house battery?

I’m glad to have found this forum and appreciate any thoughts about the above.

I had to replace the electric step replacement control on ours. It seems like Lippert sells all of their stuff on Amazon. Mine uses what looks like the Lippert Kwikee power step.

Hello congrats on your ride! More batteries give you more power for extended run time witch is always plus. But pay attention to wiring, meaning parallel or in series, you dont want to damage anything!! As for the steps like the man said amazon does have a lot of parts for a wide variety of items for you rv. Power steps are simple to install very basic wiring. If you have any questions I will help in any way I can! Good luck and happy camping!!
