Default Dumb questions

Ok, don't laugh. New to us: 2006 GS Ultra LE. Does it have wood or metal framing?
Where can I find information specific to this m/h as the "owners manual" is pretty genaric.

Thanks

The only dumb question is the one that isn't asked.

I think the general answer to your question is metal. Here's a portion of the structural description from the 2006 brochure for the Ultra LE --

"Welded aluminum perimeter frame."

"Laminated steel frame floor w/metal underbelly."

That said, there's plenty of wood used in the construction, too, IMO.

You can find the 2006 brochure here.

Thanks for the mfa

The reason I asked about the structure was the fact that I found wood under the outside covering under the ladder. I realize that the wood is probably backing so the screws can grip. The screws attaching the ladder flange to the rear outside wall were rusting so I replaced them with stainless. Two of the screws were rusted so bad that they broke off when I removed them. It's evident that they weren't sealed properly as the threads were rusted through. I'll be going over the whole m/h looking for more to replace.
