Default Memorial Weekend in Minnesota

Hello - I'm new to the Gulf Stream Owners RV forum. Just recently purchased a 5'er Canyon Trail and I'm looking for thoughts/opinions on a good family spot to plan for Memorial Weekend - in the upper Midwest (Minnesota, Wisconsin, Upper Michigan, etc.).

Since this will be the first family camping event for us, I'm looking for choices for the Memorial Weekend that will be a good first time experience for my wife and the family. Thoughts of Wisconsin Dells come to mind - just looking for additional thoughts as well.

My kids are 2 1/2 and 8 1/2.

Thanks !

Welcome to the GS Owners forum.
I wish I could give you some good spots but we are in New England!!
If you ever get out this way we will be glad to give you many choices of good spots.

Earl

Many campgrounds and lots to do in Wisconsin Dells. Another fun place is Jellystone park at Warrens WI. http://www.jellystonewarrens.com lots of fun for the kids. Either place I recommend you make advance reservations, especially for weekends.

Default welcome

welcome to the forum. I am sorry I am from Ohio so I can't help you with that choice. The thing I have found out about camping is anywhere is nice as long as you are camping with family and friends you like. Enjoy and have a good time.

Thanks Kathy ! Now, if we can get some better weather instead of the high 30's and a chance of snow.

Looking forward to the warmer weather !

With kids I'd vote for the Dells, with a family supper at "Paul Bunyans" (sp).
Neat place to take kids, lots to do.
Safe travels
Rick
