2007 gulfstream T 40 A 42'
when using lp gas for the hot water htr.,is there a pilot light that has to be lit?..thks Jim

No, it uses an electric spark igniter each time it needs to come on. If the ignition doesn't "take" within a few seconds, it cuts off and sets a light on your control panel.
