Default Bottom of slide does not fully close

Is there an adjustment for the slide to lift the slide so it will close fully on the bottom? I have a hydraulic slide on a 97 Sunvoyager. The slide opens and closes with the top and bottom not always moving together. The slide tilts in and out when moving. I'm worried about water or snow causing problems.

Thanks

The tilting in and out is normal. Depending on the slide type, they can be adjusted. I do suggest for the first time to get someone that knows what they are doing to make the adjustments.

Default Slide Out Adjustment

Attached is the service info for the hydraulic system on my 2005 UltraSupreme. You can see what it takes to make adjustments to the slides. If you are not mechanically inclined, do not have the tools or the time, then take it to someone who knows what they are doing.

On my living room slide the bottom moves first to climb over the teflon strip along the edge of the floor. As the slide moves in, the centre of gravity changes and then top will fall forward and come in. The top will hit the outside wall first and then the bottom will be pulled in. As mentioned elsewhere, what is happening on your unit is standard, except for the bottom not coming in fully..

They should touch at top BEFORE the bottom, designed that way... verify nothing in the way, then hold button until all quits moving? (If they touched bottom first, top could never pull in, and designing to touch at same time would be an adjustment nightmare) LUCK to ya
