Default No power to 12v outlets

I have a 2008 Gulfstream Mini Cruiser MH, and both the 12v outlets have no power. The 12v fuses look okay and there is power going to the lights and other DC appliances.

Initially, there was a problem with the 12v outlet in the rear, and I took it out to find that the Positive pole on the back of the cigarette lighter port was bent. At that point, the 12v outlets had power, but the connection was intermittent due to the bent port.

Shortly after, both the 12v outlets no longer have power which I verified with a multimeter.

Have also checked the breakers and fuses near the batteries outside the RV.

Please let me know if someone has seen this before.

Thanks

I'd say you just need to keep searching for the blown fuse you most likely have. You looked in your power distribution panel? Does your refrigerator work? Lot's of times the 12VDC used for the outlets in your picture shares the 12V to the refer.

The Fuse to the Fridge was blown, and it was connected to these 12V outlets.
Not sure why they do this and have also not seen it documented or mentioned elsewhere.

Thanks for your help.

Hi wchoe,
Is you MH an Vista Cruiser Mini mounted on a Mercedes or Freightliner Sprinter 3500 chassis? Have you ever had any problems with the Automatic Transfer Switch possibly located (mine is) under the Refrig? Trying to figure out how to get to it without cutting a hole in the refrig cabinet next to the dining popout.

It's mounted on a Mercedes Sprinter 3500 chassis.
I'm not sure where the ATS is located, but it could be in the same compartment as the Converter which is located underneath the fridge.
Opening up the Distribution panel, will give you access to the compartment, but it's a tight fit.

These, being plastic, located in AV areas, are designed for a LOW amps (1-10?) to a TV/ electronics/ chargers, (NOT designed for 15-20aDC, such as an air compressor); 1) should be fed by a FUSE in main RV Power panel.... but 2) have read of some finding bad splices in wiring on floor behind power center; or 3) rodent wiring damage can be a possibility?

Yes, the RV outlets are not for high amperage devices. I mostly use them for LED lights, charging electronics via USB. There is no separate fuse for them in my RV, and found out that they were connected to the Fridge circuit (whose fuse had blown).

Thank goodness it wasn't due to wiring or rodents, as the fix would be more challenging.
