Default Water tank drain valves

Gulfstream BT Cruiser (5270B) Three drain valves in front of the fresh water tank. I assume when aligned with the lines they are on and perpendicular to the lines is off. Previous owners directions are to open these valves to drain the tank through the drops at the valves to the ground beneath using gravity only. Does not work. Only way I have been able to drain the tank is through the hot water tank with the anode rod removed. I assume I'm missing something. Anybody have any thoughts. Thanks

Try lifting the valve rather than turning it

Thanks, I just did that a few days ago. Tried it awhile back and it didn't move and I was afraid I would break it as I didn't really know what I was doing. Little more power and it popped up and all is well, besides the fact I feel kinda dumb. Thanks again.

Don’t feel bad. I had to ask too. I also felt dumb. But we learn, don’t we? Enjoy you rig!
