Default Stop window rattling

I dont know about you. But I cant tolerate driving for hours listening to rattles. I have a Sunvoyager that had the drivers side and passenger side windows anoying rattle. Its now non existant. I went to the hardware store and purchased an electrical outlet safety cover, the ones designed so kids cant hurt themselves. Its a small piece of plastic with two prongs that fit into an outlet. Cost of aprox. .25 cents. I then cut one prong off. And I simply push it into the top of the window frame and it is such a good fit that it virtuly stoped all the noise. While Im driving i simple remove it and open the window and place it back in. All the window needed was just enough of pressure to make my drive quiet.

I stuck felt pads to the frame the window slides in. Now i can put the window in any position easily and it doesn't make any noise.

Never had that problem with my Scenic Cruiser, fact the windows are so tight, that you really have to use some force for them to slide. But I guess it is best for them to be tight then too loose.

I have that problem also so what I did was no cost to me use a plastic see through knife pressed down into the track of the window when shut. I always travel with the windows shut as I get older I don't tolerate the road noise you get when leaving the windows open. So far it has only been the drivers side window rattling now with the knife installed there is no noise. My wife cuts out all the noise and reads her book after she turns off her hearing aids, sucks to need to wear them but there are advantages if you must wear them.
