Default Can this be done?

2007 GS Sun Voyager, is it possible to remove the oval shape panel that holds the tail & Back-up lights? Thinking of adding new lights, that would make it a lot easier.

Have you tried access from the rear side doors for the storage compartments? Get down with a flashlight and see if there's any sign of the tail light wires. Does your manual (you do have a manual, right?) give any instructions on changing bulbs in the lights?
And lastly, why do ya wanna change the lights anyhow?

Thanks for the reply. Can't access from the compartments. I can remove the individual lights, but looking inside with a mirror, don't see any way to remove the panel. Yea, the manual doesn't help, to generic. I'm going to replace them with LED lights, I like the look of the ones with a chrome flange.

No. Like these. They will fit the existing holes after removing the lights and grommets

ok, cool, but your existing ones look like there just in a grommet? they should just pop out, but heat makes the grommet more pliable
