Default Wheel Rub

I have a Gulf Stream Friendship G7 2004. Ever since I took ownership of it two years ago I have had an issue with the passenger side front wheel rubbing the inside fender. Air is not getting into the right suspension bag properly and so the top of the tire is an inch or two higher than the top of the fender. It doesn't always do this, but it is occurring frequently enough to be a concern. There has been damage to the fender from this occurring.

A Freightliner shop has looked at it a few times and replaced and adjusted the levelling valve to Freightliner specs. As well the bags have been inspected for leaks. From their perspective they have done what they can to resolve, but they recognize that it hasn't been resolved. They are unsure of what to try next other than add a second levelling valve. I will be taking it to another Freightliner shop to see if they have ideas.

Has anyone else experienced this or have suggestions of what to try next?

Thank you for your reply. It’s in those same conditions that I have my will rub issue. Freightliner has done a variety of repairs with no results. Most of the work involves the levelling valves. They’ve got a couple more things they want to try like adding an additional levelling valve. I hadn’t really considered Cutting out part of the fender. Did you get that done by a body shop? How does it look?

How do you tried any other solutions? Like height ride levels or replacing levelling valves? Do you ever find on the highway that it sometimes tips a bit or only at slow speeds like backing into a site?
