Default A/C is done

Hi,

Over the past six months, we have totally refurbished our 22' 2002/2003 GS BT Cruiser. Though we brought the cruiser to Camping World in Rocklin CA and they did a diagnostic and maintenance on the A/C and generator, apparently the A/C was working too hard and fried wires when we lent the unit to my sister and her husband. We have found a wonderful private RV specialist/repair person recommended by the other Camping World in Sacramento! Go figure!! He is amazing and found this little gem of an issue. Our challenge though is finding an A/C unit to purchase for our rig. Any thoughts or suggestions on where to find hopefully a new analog A/C unit? Forgive me if I have misspoken at all, but looking for any suggestions or guidance on a purchase route.

Thank you!

Anita

If you respect and trust your new RV repair guy! Why aren’t you asking him?
Although there are plenty of used ones on eBay and other sites. But your taking a shot in the dark.

With all the current supply/ shipping issues, I read recently there are a lot of empty shelves, including new RV roof air units?

Appreciate your question. He is so good that he (as is every other RV repair in a 150 miles radius) is crazed with repairs. We felt that if we could help him with finding a unit that would lighten his load on our front at least. Apparently, the supply chain issues are part of the challenge with finding parts for RVs as with many other other items.

Thanks again for the reply!

Thank you for the reply. I believe you are spot on with supply chain issues affecting this. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
