Default GS Crescendo 8386 Switch???

2004 Gulfstream Crescendo 8386. Right across from the refrigerator below the heat & Air control, there is a cabinet door with a switch inside and a red light illuminator? It is not identified but does it have something with propane heating water?

Most likely this is the switch for the 110 heating element in your water heater. Be sure that you have water present in the heater before you use the shore powered electric auxiliary heating element in the water heater. You should also be sure that you have water present in the heater if you turn on the propane burner in this water heater. If the coach has been "winterized" your heater may be completely empty of water, and the bypass valves turned off...

Chuck is correct. It is for the water heater when you do not want to use propane, and you are hooked up to shore power, you turn that switch on and your water heater will supply hot water just like it did when on propane. But like Chuck posted, make sure there is water in the water heater before turning it on or you could burn up the element.
