Day / Night Pleated Shades Flip 180*?

New to the forum and GS, not new to motorhomes and trailers. I just purchased a 2004 SV 37' with atrium and am thinking about flipping thee pleated shades 180 degrees, top-to-bottom so I can have the lower portion of the window covered and the top open for more in-coach privacy while still keeping an upper view.

I would mount so that when the shade is in the "home" position with nothing covered it would be below the bottom of the window as to allow for the window to be opened for air flow.

Another thought - using a similar pleated shade that allows for bi-directional use. Open top, open bottom, open top and bottom with shad in middle.

Anyone done either of these?

Hi, we hated those pleated shades so I took them all out and put nice 1 inch pull cord window blinds in. No problems, easy to use, up / down, open / close, the way it should have been. 2005 SV 37’

Good thought, remove them and go with a completely different set up.

We did that in the bedroom, yes,so the shade goes from the top down
