Alternator Lead to Add DC-DC charge controller

I have a 2004 GS Crescendo. I have just replaced the standard batteries with lithium batteries. I have upgraded my charge controller but have also purchased a DC-DC charge controller so I don't overload my alternator while driving. I can't figure out where to install this controller. Does anyone have a drawing of where the alternator connects into the charging system? I can't seem to track it down and I don't dare drive it until I have this installed.
