Default factory supplied

Just bought a new conquest. I'm a little confused. It has scissor jacks but I cant find tool to use them. Should it have come with one? Also looks to use the same tool for the manual slide. And being this is my first new rv Apparently the sewer hose is an extra item. Is this the norm?

It should have come with one. It's a bar with a slotted tip on one end, and it's been bent into a squared-off U shape making it easy to turn them quickly using two hands.

Kinda shaped like this:

Code:
---------\ /--------C
         | |
          \-------------/

Was thinking it should have came with it. Although mine doesn't use a slotted one. It has 3/4" socket style. Guess it's something else to ask dealer about. Since it was never mentioned. As for the sewer hose I was already informed that it's extra. Was just wondering when it became "here is your camper now you have to buy all this other stuff to use it"

Having to buy the sewer hose and a few tools to have on hand, and choosing to buy a whole host of other stuff, is normal. It should have come from the factory with the tool for the jacks and the awning pole though. (The fault could lie with either the dealer for losing the tool, or with the factory for forgetting to include it.)

I don't have an awning pole. Awning is power if that makes a difference.

It's all new to me since my last camper was a 1975 18' Prowler. It didn't have an awning. Had aluminum jacks. And no tub or shower. Also noticed that they quit putting front windows on trailers.

Any way it seems nice, just been awhile since I've used a TT.

Thanks.

I've never had a power awning, but it makes sense it wouldn't have a pole for that.

I gather that most manufacturers stopped putting in front windows because it's difficult to keep them from leaking - the air pressure of traveling pushes them inward and eventually breaks the seal.

As for the leveling jacks, you can save yourself a lot of cranking by getting one of these sockets for your cordless drill.
