Default Window seals and anti rattle clips

2002 BT CRUISER, Newbie here. What does everyone do about the weatherstripping in the windows. Also missing anti rattle clips. I would really appreciate some suggestions. Window creations are out of business for a long time, no luck there. Thanks

Hello there! I don't have that model, but the rattle clips are nothing more then if you take a 1/4 or 1/8 small piece of vaccum tube about 2" long at the bottom of the track will work perfectly.now again I'm not sure of your model! But will help in any way I can. A pic of the weather strip you need would help, my windows may be different in a class a, sorry!

I will try the small hose. Other issue is weatherstripping on outside has shrunken and left gaps that leak water. Can not figure out how to post pictures.

I am going to assume the window seal you are referring to on the outside, if so and the window is fixed where the seal is you can add a small amount of silicone clear around that area where that weather strip has shrunk, I hope this helps but make sure the holes at the bottom of the window are good and clean to allow water that gets in the track to drain out! They may look clean but check them!

Unfortunately the gaps are not on a fixed glass. I have already cleaned the drain holes out. They were plugged. Any ideas about the gaps in weatherstripping? Thanks again.

Hmmmm Okay let me do some snooping and see what I can find, I think I know the seal you are looking for now... there is a company called Etrailer and Amazon they have a wide variety of seals I just looked and I believe they may have the seal you are looking for! Without a pic of the style you have,it's guessing game!!! Lol let me know if you locate it!!

My MH is under cover so it will be awhile before i can take the seal off and get a profile for comparison. You have given me hope that i can find some replacement seals. If you wouldnt mind i would like to get ahold of you when the time comes to look for and replace the seals. Thank you so much.

What I've done for the window rattle is cut some 3/8in Door Molding from any auto parts store and caped the window with it or in the track. Still perfecting the application but it really stoped the window rattling.

Hey see that's what I want to hear! Way to work through it, that sounds like a great idea. I don't believe in I CAN'T, I have an 05 so updating the entertainment was a must. But the cost to have it all done is completely insane these days, so I just sat back and did my home work and studied my coach and now have 4k,digital optical, ethernet. And it is like a 2022 coach now, so dig in and stop that rattle. Let me know how it works out and i can gain more insight from others as well!!

On my class a some are on the bottom, but my windows slide up and down or side to side, so depending on the window would be my first thought. Sorry these are just suggestions because of the possible differences in our coaches..

My unit is a 2004 Crescendo and has single pain windows. While my wife was driving I worked on the rattling windows some were bottom only & some top.

Great idea, i will definitely try when i get mh uncovered from storage. I have side to side slider so afraid putting on bottom would interfere with water drainage. Thanks

Rubber outside is actually glass retainer, shrinking/ expanding/ gaps is normal, should leak no water, and if it does, check/ clean weep holes/ slots for drainage? Pictures/ discussion w/ auto glass tech may help you fix DIY? Often interior water on glass is CONDENSATE from high moisture air hitting cooler glass, cure is running dehumidifier/ dryer, or toweling glass inside. Good luck

I want to thank everyone for the great ideas. It will probably be another month before i get the mh out. Will be checking out all ideas as soon as i can. Really like to get window fixed as it rattles very bad. I really need to look at drain slots also, cleaned them once but need to really check them out. Also need to cover ceiling as it had a small leak and previous owner tried to paint the stains. Will be looking for ideas for that project also. Have removed carpet and decided to put vinyl plank down. Plywood flooring looks great. Will be a busy spring. Thank everyone for all the help. With your help, this little mh will look great.
