Default SN6400 Wiring for Towing a Trailer or Pup

Folks,
Looking for some advice...specially from those of you that have installed or are towing a trailer that uses electric brakes. I have a 2011 SN6400 that I would like to tow a car trailer or flat tow a pup. What I discovered is that GS did not carry the RV brake signal wire or the 12V hot wire to the 7 pin hitch connector. What is there on mine is the standard brake light, turn signal and running lights. I intend to use/install a standard brake controller (Prodigy brand) but have not seen the ability to pick off the brake light signal wire typical to this brake controller installation, nor is the coach pre-wired to make this installation simple. How did you install your brake controller and how/where did you pick off the brake signal and the 12v to trickle charge a trailer battery that is possible via the 7 pin connector? GS makes a big selling point about the towing capacity of this rig...just can't believe they didn't "finish the job" by pre-wiring the coach to the hook up.

Interesting, My 2008 is wired and everything works, The prodigy was connected to existing wires and the main 12 volt hot in the center of the connector allows the inside trailer lights to work, For charging of the trailer /winch battery I just ran a wire from the main junction block. Un less it was a cost cutting move I can't imagine G.S. changing there wireing from the 2008 to the later model yrs even though at that point production was almost nile. As for the wire I do remember having to search for it within the main wireing loome under the rear of the coach. If it can't be located then a separate wire run from the fuse box should solve your problem.

Which existing wire was used as the brake signal for the prodigy? Normally and if not pre-wired to accept a prodigy adapter harness, you would look for and tap into the brake light switch wires for the brake signal.

Anyone else had absolutely zero luck in having GulfStream Motorcoach Service provide assistance what so ever? Classic: Take your call, claim understanding of your problem, state "we'll get right back with you in a day or so", and .....silence....crickets.
