Unhappy Ameri Lite 199DD Water leak in storage area

We just purchased a 2021 Amerilite 199DD and during a heavy rainstorm we noticed water in our storage area and between the queen bed and dinette area. I have contacted a local dealer to have it repaired under warranty.
Any tips on how to get this properly resolved?

From experience, look up, not down. The water is almost certainly coming from an issue up on the roof or another penetration. Primary possibilities would be the seem between the roof membrane and the front cap, the seem along the sidewall, and the caulk around the top of the window.

It looks like you are right. I watched during a rainstorm, and for sure, its coming from the window above the storage area.. It is dripping a LOT! I have emailed and will be calling the local RV dealer and also Gulf Stream First thing tomorrow morning to get the fix Expedited. The floor in the storage area is starting to feel bumpy.....

I bet the trailer went through a few rainstorms while on the lot, prior to your taking possession.

Oh not fun. I have a 2021 199dd...dining window leaked but I caught it after the first rain. Pulled and re sealed with butyl tape and osi quad max. Cargo door is currently leaking...re seal attempt failed so Gulfstream sent me a new one. I'm doing all the work myself because the dealer will go the easy route first before pulling and re sealing. I wanted it done once the right way. So if I were you...plan on pulling all the windows and reinstalling them. They will all leak...thats a promise.
