Default 2005 Sun Voyager Surround Sound

I just replaced the original Sony units with smart TV's and am having trouble linking them to the motorhome surround sound system. The video and audio jacks are all connected, but the coaxial cable is not because the end connection pulled loose from the cable. Is the coax the link to the surround sound system?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Stengy,

No, the RF coax does not connect the TV audio to the surround amplifier/DVD unit. Attached is the connection diagram for these GS coaches. You can see that the audio L & R signals from the original TV came back to the amp via the stereo RCA connections.

Many of the newest TVs do not have these outputs -- they have either HDMI with "return channel" or a separate fiber optic audio connection. Can you post an image of the connection panel of the TV you have used for a replacement? What make/model is it?

Chuck,

Hopefully you can see or find my pic for the Vizio TV. I'm thinking I have to change something with the entertainment center setting, but that's just a guess.
