How can I find out model number? Husband bought used. Vin just showed up as Ford E450.

I want to get manuals and figure out where fuses and breakers are.

Look on the back wall inside kitchen cabinets and/or cabinets in the living area. there should be a sheet pasted to the back wall.

We just purchased a B/T model 5231. If you cannot find a manuel to purchase, let me know and I will copy mine and send it to you. We purchased it thinking we would use it this summer. Well, that doesn't look to promising now. Good luck finding manuel.

DolphinLg, We’re in the same boat. We usually have gone on 2 trips by now. It’s so sad.

In mine it is the back wall inside the cabinet over the sink and on the wall inside the over head cabinet over the sofa closer to the driver seat!

I'm a little late to the party, here, but maybe it will help someone in the future. I recently bought a used 2004 BT 5210. Had manuals for most of the RV portion and appliances, but not the Ford owners manual for the chassis.

As mentioned, the RV model number is on sticker(s) in a couple of cabinets.

Go to Owner.Ford.com, click on Owner. Find Contact Us. Have your VIN ready. By calling or chatting with someone there I gave them the VIN and they gave me the Engine and Transmission type. Also links to some commercial sites that could tell me some build sheet specifics for something like $60. I was happy with the engine and transmission types.

Also, at owner.ford.com, go to Owner / Support & How-Tos / Owner Manuals

Enter the year, make and model to get a link to the owner's manual in pdf which you can download.

For the RV portion, go to GulfStreamCoach.com/manuals
There, you'll find motor home manuals going back to 1998. Also, they have links to many of the components although not necessarily the older stuff.

Finally, I've found a couple of manuals by getting the brand/model number from the tag on the appliance, and doing some googling.

Thanks,
