Default Meltdown of Front #3 Fuse box

Was working on my 2000 Gulfstream Independence and could not get power to my OHD light switch. Went to check the fuse and the whole Bussmann Front #3 Box was melted (Bussmann 30055-0). I found there was a short in the OHD switch in the front entrance panel. STupid me I forgot to disconnect the battery when working on the 12 volt system. I found another fuse box but will need to rebuild the wire harness. Does anybody know if the pass through of the main wire harness can be disconnected from the fuse box harness side
