Default *SOLVED* Schematic

Good day,
Im trying to find electrical schematic for my 2011 Gulfstream Firefly 16dbh…

Ive been trying to figure out electrical draw.

From battery post there are two red (hot wires). One is thicker, goes to 50 amp circuit breaker and one is thinner (30amp) circuit breaker.

Thicker wire goes in the trailer, into the power control unit / inverter.

After a lot of investigating, I found that thinner wire is pulling 5.45 amp regardless if the trailer is on or not. Basically drains a large battery in about 8 hours.

Ive disconnected that wire battery and Im trying to figure out what that wire powers.

Ive tried everything, and I cant figure it out. Everything seems to work.

Can you please tell me what the thinner red wire powers or let me know where to find electrical schematic for this unit

Thank you,

Marko

Default Re: Schematic

I figured it out (but not with help from gulfstream. they were not able to provide me a schematic...seriously? !)

Second wire is for the electric surge brakes. I had this bad habit of pulling the pin when my trailer is parked (single axle, figured safer so it doesn't move).

Ive always dealt with mechanical hydraulic brakes, so power was not an issue. With electric brakes, it was pulling 5.5 amps of draw and killing my battery in short order.

Plugged it back in, all is good.
