Default dash switches on a 98 scenic cruiser

One of the switches on the left of my dashboard has a battery on it and can be pushed up and down. I have not been able to figure out what it does. Please let me know what it is for!!!!

I wonder if it is a boost switch that allows the house batteries to help starting the engine.

I agree with Beaufort NC that it must be the boost start. If your chassis batteries get weak, press that button for a couple of seconds, while holding it down try to crank the engine. If it is the house battery boost it should help you get the engine started.
