Default New to us

Just bought a 2005 BT with 9800 miles on it. It has been sitting for 10 years uncovered in a storage lot so I've got some work ahead of me. Right now generator is at top of the list. It just clicks when you hit the start button.
Thanks

Nice! Good buy , low miles and all, going over everything from engine belts hoses etc. plus all the components for the coach bit by bit, not to shabby. Enjoy the efforts you put into and have fun out there with it.

Mine does that when the house battery isn't fully charged. A quick work around is to start the engine on the motor home and then try to start the generator (engine produces extra starting power). If that doesn't work you should check the electrical connections at the generators solenoid (the source of the clicking sound). Good luck!
