Default Visa 23BHD actual weight - loaded

Below is a certified weight of our Visa 23 BHD, loaded with everything, including food and drink.

I also added 30 gallons of water in the system even though I never need to travel with water, I did so because I can easily subtract it out later. Take note that part (6 gallons) of the 30 gallons was in the hot water heater, some was in the grey and black tank as I purged air out, and when done the level on the fresh water meter showed 2/3 full.

So here's how it all lays out.
As recieved from Gulfstream the trailer weighs 3820 and 380 is tongue weight. (This is legit FYI)

Add a bunch of stuff = Bedding. Fridge. Food. Tools. Chairs. TV's and mounts! (ends up being 210lbs)
30 gallons of water = appox 250, but at 2/3 full its about 170ish.

Trailer weight on a Scale as loaded above = 4280 with 560 on the tongue.

The tongue weight was done on the scale too, using the front most scale at the truck stop, they use the same pad for weighing the front axle of semi's. In my case, the trailer fit on the same pad and I placed it so it would provide accuate hitch/tongue weight.

So, lesson learned (but I did assume this)...I should NOT travel with water in the tank! 560 is way over the Honda Pilots 450 tongue rating, and having water in the front tank is what put me way over!!! It added approx 180lbs (170 was calculated in the water tank mentioned above!) to the tongue. In other words, water in the tank weight adds weight directly to the tongue nearly 1:1 with it being so far forward, so be aware.

Drain out all the water (-250) and the trailer weighs 4030lbs and the tongue is no more than 400. Perfect.

Good data, thanks for posting your findings! We have neglected to have ours weighed since we aren't anywhere close to the limits on the Tundra, but still something we have been meaning to do.
