We're considering a 2008 Sun Voyager..
We are currently class C owners thinking of upgrading to a 2008 Sun Voyager, but haven't been able to locate many opinions from current owners. We'd really appreciate all feedback any owners of a Sun Voyager may be able to give us regarding their unit and the experiences they've had with them.
Thanks for the info!

Hi Newbies, I have a 2004 SunVoyager. Afew minor things have
needed attention but all in all, I'm very happy with the coach.
They say the 2008 Ford chassis is great, (ownwr reports) and the Allison
tranny is awesome.
Good luck on your "hunt". In Florida I would go to Longview RV. Good
service reports.
Best regards and Happy Travels, Clyde

Thanks for the advice
We've been to Longview RV Superstore in Tampa and those guys were great. From what I understand, the new '08 Sun Voyager has the Workhorse 8.1L. Whereas we really like the floorplan in the 8388, I'm more interested in learning more about the integrity of the unit's construction. Have you ever had any problems of any significance, ie., leaks, slide issues, or any other problems of note? Again, many thanks for the responses. I was beginning to wonder if anyone would write back after I saw so many had read our note, but no responses were posted to it!

I would check out Flagship RV they carry Gulfstream and we have great service from them. We have also have had servive from Longview and no complaints from them but we like Flagship better. The sun sport is the same unit with a differnt paint job. We have an Inderpendance on a ford and we are verry happy with it.

MY Sun Voyager
Traveling Fools I have a 2004 Sunvoyager with the 8.1 and the allison transmission. I get about 7 to 8 MPG . the biggest problems I have had is with the water leaks. The rear slide out leaked and they never did find the problem, I finally after two years found the problem myself. We like the unit very much. Another problem is the fromt windshield shifted and broke due to not being installed correctly. Ours is the one with the sunroom. Three slideouts. I have had several motor homes and they all have some problems. It seems to take about three years to work out all the bugs. Just inspect it carefully for leaks.

As , Darbyjudy, said , GulfStream builds a good Coach. You will have some problems whatever and where ever you buy.
It's a great life ... if you don't give in !!
Best Regards, Clyde
