Default map lights

does anyone know anything about the flexible map lights, on the tourmaster, I have two, one for driver & passenger.....they do not work, & I have yet to figure out how to get the bulbs out???? or do they come out?...it sometimes is the simple things of life?, that makes life so difficult.....jim

Jim-
Mine work with the dome light switch beside the regular light switch. Once I turn the dome light switch on, (down I believe), I can then turn each light on by turning the back of each light. I also thought mine didn't work until I discovered the sequence.

Mine are the same; you must turn on the dome light switch (on my unit it is a black rotating wheel on the left side of the dash) then turn on the map light by rotating the switch on the top of each unit.

SIDE NOTE...We use the map light on the passenger side as a way to light the entry door steps at night. That little light at the bottom step is not enough and this map light works great for that.
